Good morning Sunnyside Community Church,

What exalts a nation?

That is the question that we will be addressing from God’s Word as we gather for worship today.  Whether you are able to join in person or online, I pray that the Lord will encourage your heart and enrich your mind with His truth to refresh you and equip you for faithful sojourning in the week ahead.  We also look forward to gathering around the Lord’s Table to remember His death and the work that He has done for our salvation.

As we gather, we will continue to encourage the wearing of masks during our informal times of mingling fellowship.  For the sake of those who are particularly vulnerable we want to take precautions.  Once we have settled in our places for the service, feel free to remove your mask.  The spacing is adequate and the situation of the tables is such that masks are not really necessary.

With the increased concern over rising numbers of confirmed case of covid-19 the days ahead are uncertain with respect to any opening up to larger numbers at our gatherings.  We will just have to be patient and wait to see what happens.  Meanwhile, we continue as we have been doing.

May the Lord encourage you as your live before Him this week.  May His Word feed your soul.  May His Spirit empower you in heart and mind for faithfulness to Christ.  May He equip you with wisdom for every responsibility and opportunity.
