Great Start to Good News Club

“…Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children, and let your children tell it to the next generation.”¬†Joel 1:3 (NIV)

Before I had children, I didn’t want to tell others about the gospel. I prayed about it, asking God to help me to share the gospel and to give me a love for the lost. I asked for courage to tell the gospel. Then God gave me children.

It is an amazing thing, how the Lord opened my eyes to the need to tell my own children the gospel and to raise them in His Word. Opportunities arose to tell neighborhood children. Then, when we ended up sending our children to public school, the opportunities jumped up like fireworks. My kids are now grown. But today I stumbled upon this verse, which strengthens my resolve to take the Word of God into the public school.

The Kick-off last Saturday was great.

We all got encouraged and excited to start. We have the cafeteria to use (not sure yet what the cost will be) and the take-home flyers/invitations have been approved for distribution. As a team, we are getting our jobs nailed down. I’ve been spending time at home, keeping up with CEF on our next steps, and other preparatory work. I am also getting nervous, which is good. Being nervous will keep me depending on the Lord.

Thank you for your prayer support!

In Christ,
